Godaddy.com Super Bowl XLII 2008 What will they do this year..?
January 28, 2008
It all started in 2005 when Godaddy.com dropped a bomb on America during the Superbowl with Broadcast Hearing directed by Bryan Buckley Hungry Man Films. I remember seeing the this spot and my jaw literally dropping to the floor. I couldn’t believe they just aired that spot. It turned it into a PR dream for Godaddy.com.
This is the Censored version of the spot.. which is still great.

Then with 2006 the aired this gem, but as you could tell the production value went down a little bit and the Idea wasn’t nearly as strong..T he road to actually get a spot on the Superbowl was a tough one becuase of the stir caused by the previosu years commercial. After numerous ideas and revisions they aired this commercial called Network Censor.

Last years Super Bowl 2007 was a big improvement of the previous years effort. They snagged the help of Indy Race car driver Danica Patrick and also enlisted the help of the Paul Sr, Junior and Mikey from American Chopper. It was fun and it featured a loner extend cut on the internet as a viral.

My favorite new Commercial …Commonwealth Bank: Anthem
January 25, 2008
I love this spot more than the Richard Simmons ESPN spot from a few weeks back. It definitely hits home if you are in advertising. This brand new 60 second spot out of the minds of Goodby Silverstein & Partners has a put a spell on me. I have literally watched it 20 times already. This commercial is uber funny and includes a cameo from bigtime Hollywood director Michael Bay!.. Enjoy
