Bud Light trims with a Chopper!
May 20, 2008
Great new commercial for an American beer company our of London.. very interesting. But very well done. They use the soundtrack to “Airwolf”, one of my favorite TV shows growing up in the 80’s.
The BRIEF from the press release : Position Bud Light as mainstream beer to overcome product misconceptions Launched in 2006, Bud Light has been seen as a low alcohol “girly” beer to date by the Irish, however at 4.1% ABV (where “standard lagers average 4.3%) this was clearly a misconception that needed to be challenged – Bud Light is the smarter choice because it has a standard ABV but is lower in carbs and calories.
Solution: First TV advertising developed specifically for the Irish market
John O’hagen from RSA films directed this commercial. You can see more of the John O’hagens work here atr RSA films. www.rsafilms.com
