This commercial is fresh and oh so good. Its hard for me to hate a nike commercial especially a when there is a new spin on a classic like Air Force Ones. Christopher Riggert is at the helm for this visually stimulating commercial that will knock your socks off..! Richard Simmons whips SportsCenter into Shape.. ESPN: Conditioning Coach

I mean who doesn’t love Richards Simmons.(well I’m sure there are a few) This guy is more than just weight loss guru that has help hundreds of thousands people lose weight, he is one of the most funniest icons of modern American history. Hes out of his mind and I love it. Putting him into an ESPN spot only makes sense, and I am surprised they didnt think of this sooner.
Conditioning Coach was directed by Hank Perlman of Hungry Man..www.hungryman.com Hungry Man is one of my favorite production comanys in the biz, who I will actually be working with this month. This spot comes to us from Wieden + Kennedy’s New York office. Wieden + Kennedy has been getting alot of my attention lately because of such a steady output of great work lately.

Nike: No Excuses A new commercial from Errol Morris

Director Errol Morris never ceases to amaze me. His Documentary style of story telling is unmatched by anyone in the business. This is a Director I look at as an Editor and hope one day I will get to work with this guy. I have been a huge fan ever since the day I watched the “Fog of War”, his 2003 Documentary on the Eleven Lessons from the Life of Robert S. McNamara. Its only fitting that agency Wieden + Kennedy hire him to direct this “No Excuses” Spot for Nike. The spot showcases an athlete rattling off common excuses that most people use for not working out, with one hell of a twist at the end.
