This was made in response to Kwame Kilpatricks Text Scandal. We were working late one night and caught the Mayors apology and I said to everyone “I have to do something with this” and this was the results of roughly 17 hours of editing and tweaking with almost zero sleep. This is my first DropKick Monkey Original. May this be the first of many to come.

I am a native Detriter and I am very sad about the whole situation with Mayor
Kilpatrick.Im sorry for his family,his wife especially, The rest of us can deal with our dirty laundry in private, Yes I know some people would say, when your in public life. you have no private life But his sons didnt do anything that they should be punished for, but children can be very cruel to each other, so there is no telling what they have to deal with on a daily basis. Kwame, what were you thinking, I am not going to judge you. I have in the past and I know the lord dosent want me to do that so I’m going to do what he would have me do, and that is pray for you and your family, Think about this though what is more important, your wife and children or being mayor. I think you should think about mending your life with your family. Your very bright, and could be a shining example to all of us, Politics arent going any where maybe you should give it a rest and come back to us in another genre of politics later after this whole disaster dies down. And it will, things like this always do, we humans have a short memory span. Just think about it. But in the meantime, May God bless you and keep you and your whole family. And what about Christine, Please dont hang her to swing in the wind, She loved you and probably still does, Being a woman myself, I can tell by the way she spoke in her text messages to you, Have you ever read or seen”The Scarlet Letter”please dont let the people of detroit hurt her any more,
she’s got enough to deal with, not just the charges pending, but she is also nursing a very much broken heart and probably alone. I can tell she’s hurting, she dosent look like the Christine I have seen over the years.
