AKQA Spoofs Guiness WITH Tipping Pot Video.
March 13, 2008
AKQA took the task of recreating Guinesses “Biggest Ad Ever” and managed to make a really great video that is sure to go viral.
The 75 second film, created by AKQA, re-locates the action from the rolling hills of Argentina to the precincts and high-rise flats of two North London housing estates. The large-scale domino effect remains, but the tumbling encyclopedias and bookcases of the original are replaced by familiar staples of typical British life including cigarette packets, mobile phones, abandoned fridge-freezers, hub caps and, finally, a solitary Pot Noodle. Replacing the excitable rural villagers of the first film, a crowd of normal Brits cast a casual eye over proceedings before continuing with their daily business. (from press release)
