Attack of the Zune Zombies!
April 9, 2008
This new video from Zune Arts reminds me of the Michael Jackson’s video for Thriller.
It has crazy puppet animation, a great music track and a snappy choreographed dance routine. What more could you ask for in a 2 minute piece meant to convey the basic idea behind the Zune, sharing the music and files on your Zune with other fellow Zune users.
The music used in the piece is called “Fancy Footwork” by the group Chromeo. I checked out there myspace page and loved the first line in their bio. “Chromeo is P-Thugg and Dave 1: best friends since their adolescence, virtuoso musicians, walking hip hop encyclopedias, and the only successful Arab/Jew partnership since the dawn of human culture.” . If you want to know more here is their page.http://www.myspace.com/chromeo
The short was directed by Three Legged Legs a 3 person directing collective based in Santa Monica, CA. In addition to the new Zune film they have recently completed work for Sprint, Sony and Amp energy drink. These guys are super talented and I recommend you taking a moment to look over some of their other projects. www.threeleggedlegs.com
